Commonwealth Silver Medallist | Olympic Weightlifting Coach (Level 2) | Judo Coach (Level 1) | Gymnastics Coach (Level 1)
With over 15 years of coaching experience, Jess brings world-class athletic insight and a straightforward, supportive coaching style to CrossFit Bracknell, where she’s been part of the team for the past year and a half.
A lifelong athlete, Jess has competed internationally in gymnastics, judo, and now Olympic weightlifting, where she proudly earned a Commonwealth silver medal. Her coaching journey began when she completed a gymnastics coaching qualification while still competing — and she’s been helping others unlock their potential ever since.
Jess is passionate about helping athletes discover what they’re truly capable of. Her goal in every class is simple: help people learn new skills, have fun, and leave feeling stronger and more confident.
Outside the gym, Jess is a talented musician (she plays two instruments and performs in a concert band), enjoys building LEGO creations, and loves heading to drum and bass concerts. Her go-to post-workout treat? Sushi or a 7Bone burger.

Dan brings a wealth of sporting experience and energy to CrossFit Bracknell. A former professional wakeboarder and national-level rugby player, he combined his love of sport with a degree in Sports Coaching and Development, giving him a strong foundation in training, athlete development, and performance.
Dan discovered CrossFit Bracknell through Instagram and was drawn to the variety of workouts and the supportive community. Inspired by the environment, he became a coach to help others grow, build confidence, and enjoy being active. Known for his high-energy, fun, and driven style, Dan aims to create sessions that challenge athletes while keeping the atmosphere upbeat, helping them achieve meaningful progress over time. His motto is, “Too much energy? Perfect.”
Outside the gym, Dan enjoys time with his new family, playing padel, tennis, and rugby, and socialising. While he loves gymnastics movements in CrossFit, the snatch is his least favourite, and a post-workout duck wrap from M&S is his treat. Once a teacher, Dan’s proudest coaching moment was hosting his first session with over 20 athletes showing up to support, and his advice for anyone new to CrossFit is simple: “Take the leap… you won’t regret it.”
